Publisher Privacy Policy

This notice describes Textmolt Publisher, the operator's local Windows tool for their own YouTube channel. It does not replace the separate privacy policy for the Textmolt Word add-in.

Data accessed and why

Through YouTube API Services, the tool reads the authorized channel's identifier and title to check the destination. For a video it uploads, it reads the video identifier, channel association, visibility and processing status to verify the result. It does not request Gmail, Drive, advertising, comment-writing or subscription-management permissions.

The operator supplies the source video, its content hash, title, description, tags, language, audience and synthetic-content declarations, privacy setting and any approved scheduling details. The selected video and these metadata are sent to Google/YouTube only when an authorized upload is executed.

Local storage and safeguards

OAuth authorization credentials, including the refresh token, are stored in Windows Credential Manager. The desktop OAuth client configuration stays outside the source repository. The tool does not ask for or store a Google password.

Local configuration and publication plans contain operator-selected settings. A local upload ledger records channel and content identifiers, plan hashes, attempted/uploaded states, returned video identifiers and timestamps. Local run receipts record whether the queue execution succeeded or stopped. These records are used to prevent duplicate uploads and diagnose publication results, not for advertising or profiling.

The source video is opened read-only, checked against its approved hash and protected against changes during upload. The application does not delete, move or rewrite original videos. Credential values are excluded from normal operational output and are not part of this public website.

Sharing and limited use

The uploader communicates directly with Google/YouTube for authorization, upload and verification. It does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. Any use of authorized operator assistance must remain within the account owner's instructions. Textmolt Publisher's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Google handles uploaded content under the Google Privacy Policy and applicable YouTube policies. The website hosting provider processes ordinary web requests to deliver these public pages; these pages contain no advertising, tracking scripts or sign-in forms.

Retention, revocation and deletion

This is a single-operator installation. Publication records remain under that operator's control on the local computer. This version does not provide automatic local-file cleanup or an in-app account-deletion feature. It must not be presented to other users as providing a self-service deletion workflow.

The operator can stop future executions by disabling the local scheduled task and uploader. Google access can be revoked in Google Account third-party connections. Revoking access prevents further authorized API use but does not itself remove already uploaded YouTube videos or local records. Those are controlled separately through YouTube Studio, Windows Credential Manager and the operator's local files.

For access, correction, retention or deletion questions, contact [email protected]. Any requested disposal of local data requires an explicit operator decision and appropriate handling; no automatic deletion is claimed. Before extending this tool to other users, the operator must implement and validate the applicable data-lifecycle requirements.

Changes

This notice will be updated when the tool's data flows or operational scope change. It is a description of the current installation, not a statement that Google has audited or endorsed it.
